CARNIVAL MASKS

This collection is based on a set of 40 masks made from concrete scraps during the most critical period of the pandemic in Brazil, which began after the carnival of 2020 and culminated in a great period of isolation. Seeking a way to deal with the insecurity and fear of the lurking unknown, I produced 40 masks using an old carnival mask as a mold. Now, the mask images are manually receiving digital artistic treatment, creating new images. Each mask is unique. The first collection was launched with 20 units.
