Photogra-phi is a photography collection with peculiar details.
But first, what is phi?
- phi aka golden number aka golden ratio = 1.618...
- Some twentieth-century artists and architects, including Le Corbusier (The Modulor) and Salvador Dalí (Sacrament of the Last Supper), have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio, believing this to be aesthetically pleasing. These often appear in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio.
1:1, 2:3, 4:5, 16:9 are common ratios we all use but 1:1.618 is less known. With this collection I aim to explore the golden ratio using 1:1.618.
