We are Made of Stardust

Taking photos in low light is different for me. I am either alone with the stars within nature, feeling completely vulnerable as I most likely wouldn't hear wildlife or threats approaching. Or, I'm with friends in which communication becomes difficult, since I read lips. A phone or headlamp is held up to a person's face so that I can talk to them rather than yelling or talking softly in the nighttime. Often, if I am camping with people, talking in the darkness is a normal social situation. Since it is really difficult for me to be a part of this, I'll often sneak away with my camera to be alone with the stars.
