SOKAK

I am Reza. Iranian photographer living in Turkey, I lived in the south of Iran near the equator, which is the hottest and driest region of Iran. After migrating to Turkey to study, I settled in Ankara, one of the coldest cities in the country. Although I have been migrating for several years, I am still not used to weather of this city. The photos of this project were taken at 2 PM. The reason I chose this time for photography is the temperature. Because it is the hottest hour of the day. And this low but pleasant heat is reminiscent of my hometown. I like streets of Ankara during this time. Streets full of shadows, lines, light and people who walk among them.
