I Went Swimming

I love to photograph waves. As I sit here writing about it, I see a world. Memories, feelings, colors, and more all flowing atop an un-abiding calm. Just like the ocean, and that’s where this starts. At a spot somewhere in my local town where the water meets the shore, sitting in the middle of it all with my camera. The splash, the crash, the aftermath, an endless art. This collection was made with early mornings, swell chasing, and ripped wetsuits. I think waves have a funny way of bringing us the peace, joy, and freedom we are looking for when we need it the most.
