I begin with a gesture of energy, a quick brushstroke on the canvas. Then, I tune into it a little more-- what surrounds it? What color is it? What is the soul beneath this energy trying to say? After the painting is finished, it's time to digitize and animate the piece. Each one has its own breath, life, and journey.
