Wonderland: The First National Park

A 1/1 collection by Benjamin Theurer. Wonderland. The original nickname of Yellowstone describes the variety of the landscape. With over 10,000 named and unnamed thermal features, over 300 waterfalls, more than 70 peaks, 2,500 miles of running water, and 2.222 million acres of wilderness, Yellowstone is full of experiences to be had. Yellowstone is my first conscious memory. My Grandfather, an E.R doctor, spent a few weeks each summer relieving the full-time park docs at Lake Hospital. We were lucky to join him once in a while in the free housing. With around 1,000 hours spent in the park, you'd think I had seen it all, yet there are still hundreds of trails I have yet to wander.
