Wild Pear Tree

Wild Pear Tree I always get involved in an emotional bond with trees standing alone in nature, away from the forest. I think it's due to this wild pear tree. This tree, which is located just behind the village where I was born and grew up, has a lot of place in my childhood memories. My son, I, my father and my grandfather witnessed the last hundred years of this tree. Last year, a spring storm broke one of the tree's largest branches.
