Old Chic, New World

The painting of beautiful “Ladies” (仕女 - Shi nü) is a long-held practice in Chinese art. This collection blends the fashion of traditional Chinese Ladies with the modern world. As the daughter of two professional artists, I received a classical education and was immersed in the world of art, ancient history, literature, and philosophy at an early age. I studied Chinese Painting at university, and I am currently working on my Ph.D. I feel a connection to the women in this collection.
