An ode to the Coast

“An ode to the Coast” is my tribute to the stretch of coastline along Central California that changed my life forever. When Covid struck the world, I was 12 and lonely and struggling to find myself. In Middle School I pretended to be someone else, and I was always trying my hardest to fit in and be popular. Then, as the world slowed down, I discovered photography. My dad is a photographer, and he taught me everything he knew. Once a week we would get up before dawn, drive out to our local estuary, and explore with cameras.
