Exposed In The Light

This 10 piece 1/1 body of work, and the protagonists within them, symbolize myself and are a projection of my life in Poland, far from where I was born and the comfort of living with what I knew. Often, this different life, takes on aspects of loneliness filled with anxiety as I learned to cope, process and adjust to life as a stranger. During my process, the lone figure, is something that I have felt extremely connected to and compelled to explore, using these figures to paint a version of my own story of perseverance and conflict that you see in these vignettes.
