With virtually no light or sound pollution from human civilisation, it is one of the best places on Earth to see the stars and experience total silence. The majestic, twisted trees that defiantly command its scorched planes have long been considered a symbol of hope in the natural world. Shot during a series of solo night treks, these limited edition photographs are all single, long exposures aimed to capture the sense of wonder I have always experienced when beholding this sacred place.
