Le Mont Edition

Le Mont Saint Michel is a monastery built on a rocky island with only 830m circumference, on the north coast of France.
The construction of the monastery began as early as 1017, but was completed only around 1520.
It is still used today, but it is also one of the most important and beautiful landmarks of northern France.
When I saw a picture of it for the first time many years ago, I knew that I absolutely had to go there. 
I took this picture on the morning of my first visit.
