Promise Land

Promise Land, by American artist Gregory Eddi Jones. Promise Land is a series of experimental photographic works that form a contemporary visual update to T.S. Eliot's poem, The Waste Land. The pictures are made through strategies of appropriation, digital editing, and physical ink rendering, processes that work to release the photograph from it's traditional burdens of truth-telling and enter into a more free-associative mode of expression.
