"Ode to Art"

We all dont agree on what "art" is , This space has changed so much for me with how I view "art". One thing in specific is the touchy subject of "derivatives" When determining a derivative the first thing I look for is the reason behind the art... Is it a cash grab? or is it an "ode to the art and the artist," what was the intent with the art. Ive learned to appreciate so much in art by seeing if "it is so easy I could do it" More often than not, MY style bleeds through. With recent events and minting "Hand Up" ive realized I need a place for it aside from my original works, I thought I would take that opportunity to address my view on this, right or wrong.
