Crypto Light Paintings

Light painting photography is the art of capturing light. Using a variety of light sources, only what is illuminated in the darkness of the night will show up on camera through long exposure settings. Each of the photographs shown here utilize a variety of techniques using different tools. Most of these photographs have been captured on a single photographic frame with very little post editing. What sets some apart is the blend of black and white photography and light painting. For these, my artistic view is that the black and white part of the photograph is the backbone or soul of the image, and the color, is its personality.
