Maori Maramataka

A series of moon phases and other signs to do with the Maori lunar calendar. In my culture we use the sun, moon and stars to tell what day of the year it is. The sun tells us the season, the pre dawn rising of stars tells us the month and the moon tells us the day. So these moon photos tell us what day of the month it is.
