Presented in the form of pop art, Sneaker Memes is a collection of 25 artworks for all the sneaker-heads. Pop art, an art movement of the late 1950s and ’60s, was inspired by commercial and popular culture. It began as a revolt against the dominant approaches to art, and culture & traditional views on what art should be. Young artists felt that what was taught at art school and what they saw in museums did not have anything to do with their lives or the things they saw around them every day.
