The Mighty Cock Collection is inspired by the famous Rooster of Barcelos. A 17th century Portuguese folk tale about a dead cock. The rooster miraculously saved the life of a man who had been falsely accused and sentenced to death. Today, the symbol remains as one of the most renowned national Portuguese emblems.
