THE IMPERIAL TIE FIGHTER PROJECT // 1984 my mother made a big mistake with showing me the first star wars movie. i instantly recognized the imperial design being superior. leaded by the imperial tie fighters. as a lifelong star wars fan i could never really forget the first feelings i had watching the movies. the imperial tie fighter was the first vehicle i could paint as a child, a circle and few lines. this is what led to the basic idea for the collection. everything can be tied between those solar collector wings, still the design idea of the empire remains intact.
