PEAK Edition

PEAK Edition of 20 to accompany PEAK 1/1 collection. The Peak 1/1 collection on FND (a set of 5 1/1s - link in bio) is about everyday buildings in the form of urban pyramids. I decided on this piece for the Edition because it most directly references the metaphor that unites the Peak collection. The Edition is an abstraction of the Pyramids of Giza and the Nile river roughly in position, with Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure represented by photos of a Peak building. The Edition introduces the Peak collection's metaphor, but more than that, it reminds us of the magic of architecture itself. For surveying, the builders had only the sun, moon, stars, and planets.
