Along the Merced by Patrick Koetzle

I’ve walked many miles through the Yosemite Valley, along the banks of the Merced, always in awe of the magic around me. I am drawn to the water that flows here. “Along the Merced” is a collection of ten photographs dedicated to the calm and pure joy I have harnessed from this little river that flows so far west from me, cutting through granite giants, wrapped around towering pines. It is an inspiring place; one I think of often. Each visit to this beautiful park is different but fall and winter will forever be the most special to me.
