Best known for his elaborately choreographed, large-scale cinematic photographs, Gregory Crewdson is one of the most widely-known American artists working today. The images that comprise Crewdson’s series, Beneath the Roses (2003-2008), take place in the homes, streets, and forests of unnamed small towns.
