Born in Kyoto, Japan in 1978, Teppei Kaneuji earned a master’s degree in sculpture from the Kyoto City University of the Arts. He was included in the exhibition “MOT Annual 2008 Unraveling and Revealing” held by the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in 2008, and became the youngest artist to hold a solo exhibition at the Yokohama Art Museum in 2009. In 2011 his work was selected as the cover of the Singapore Biennale catalogue.
