Loteria

Based on the Don Clemente Gallo edition of Lotería, this series features the classic cards reanimated as NFTs for collection, play, and prizes. Lotería, aka Mexican Bingo, originated in the 15th century as an Italian gambling game before moving to Spain and on to Mexico. Frenchman Don Clemente Jacques created and printed his version of the game in his factories, finally copyrighting the “Don Clemente Gallo” edition in 1913. Clemente’s version has become the most widely recognized and a form of folk art synonymous with Lotería.
