Fumio Shiozawa

He is an art director, a percussionist, and a painter. In 1985 he established a design company. He has a lot of experience with art direction for magazines and books. In 1986 in an interview with painter Mr. Taro Okamoto, he was suddenly inspired to pursue painting full time. Currently, he paints professionally for temples in Kyoto and Tokyo; huge paintings of gods and buddhas that represent a completely new form of expression. In 2022, he was commissioned by two World Heritage temples, Todaiji Temple in Japan and Mahabodhi Temple in India.
