"A Modern Genesis : Spring Garden'' is an exploration of found objects via Digital art. For this collection I wanted to explore something a bit different from my traditional practice, which is normally rooted in completely new designs that I have created based on my studies and inspirations However, for A Modern Genesis I worked based off an existing Golestan Tabriz carpet. By working directly from an existing carpet design (found object) I wanted to lean into the idea of creating anew from something which already existed.
