Sydney Ducks Characters

Sydney Ducks is set in a parallel reality, the cousin world of Happy Crust and Jezreel’s Tower - part historical fiction, part fantasy. It follows a divergent timeline from our own. It is dark and dystopian, drawing inspiration from David Bowie’s 1995 album ‘1. Outside’. Like that album it assumes a non-linear narrative. The Gold Coast pandemic of 2038 has severely affected international political stability and living conditions, causing mass migration from Australia to the West Coast of the USA. Foreshocks have been felt along the San Andreas fault over the past 9 months and a large earthquake is predicted soon.
