Pieces of the Night Sky

The "Pieces of Night Sky" project consists of 1800 pieces of the "REAL" night sky. Each piece shows a distinct region in the night sky with lots of stars. The stars are real and their positions, sizes, and colors are taken from the Henry Draper catalog, so called HD catalog.
