Pxlart takes the smallest element of a digital image – the pixel – and transforms it from being the medium through which you process the meaning into the message itself. Pxlart is using the minimum number of pixels needed for the brain to process the message while creating new, nonexisting information by playing directly into the eyes' sensors. The media and the message are mixed. Depending on the distance from the image, the eye sees either the image itself or the pixels that make up the image. At the middle point, the perception is merging the media, and the message by constantly fast swapping between both.
