Kinesomania by Louis Dazy - Open Editions

Kinesomania is a compulsion for movement, an excessive desire to be on the move. Through Kinesomania, Louis Dazy wanted to explore two sides: being on the move and yet immobile, two things that are usually in opposition but that we often witness in the real world. Who’s never sat still looking through the window on a train or a flight? Lost in thoughts yet moving incredibly fast. These moments are often overlooked but still, he thinks they play a big part in life, countless times he has found himself having epiphanies by just taking the time to sit back and phase out. This is what Kinesomania is about: taking the time you need to move even further.
