My fascination comes from growing up in the alps of Germany and being very connected to nature. I lost that when my parents got divorced. I moved with my mom to the industrial area of a small town close to Heidelberg. I was devastated and heartbroken. But on weekends that part of town was completely abandoned. and because of that reminded me on the peace and beauty I had experienced in the alps, the world that I’d loved so much but had to leave behind.
